Mission
Thirumoolar Varmalogy Institute is created with following mission:
- To research on the art of varmalogy and develop it to enrich the alternative medicine.
- To record the practices of varma masters.
- To expose the varmalogy texts that will be very useful for students of Siddha, Physiotherapy and Ayurvedic medicine.
- To promote the indigenous Indian art over the foreign techniques like acupuncture and acupressure.
- To frame separate rules for defense varmalogy and medical varmalogy.
- To highlight the ancient Tamil culture and Tamil language.
- To expose Tamil not only as a (communication) language but also a medical language.
